Renata Wassermann

Short Bio: Renata Wassermann holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Amsterdam (1999). She is associate professor in the Department of Computer Science at the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of São Paulo. Her area of ​​research is Artificial Intelligence, with emphasis on Logic and Knowledge Representation with focus on belief revision and description logics.

João Leite

Short Bio: João Leite obtained his PhD in Computer Science at the New University of Lisbon in 2002. Before that, he obtained a MSc in Computer Science at the New University of Lisbon in 1997 and graduated in Electronic Engineering at the University of Coimbra in 1994. He is Associate Professor (with Agregação) at the Computer Science Department of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa. His primary research interests include: Knowledge Representation and Reasoning, Argumentation Theory, Answer-Set Programming, and Multi-Agent Systems.
