It is our great pleasure to invite you to participate in the 10th Portuguese Conference on Automatic Control – CONTROLO’12, to be held in Funchal, Madeira Island, July 16th to 18th, 2012. This conference is organized by UMa – University of Madeira, and APCA the Portuguese Association of Automatic Control which is a national member organization of the International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC). Best paper awards

The CONTROLO'12 committee will choose two contributions, between all accepted papers and posters, to receive the following awards:
- Best Industrial Paper, and;
- Best Student Paper.

Judging shall be on the bases of general quality, originality, subject matter, and timeliness. The awarded paper(s) will be proposed for publication in one of the special issues planned for the conference.
